Frederick Park Fairer “Skipping-rope” Oil on panel Signed

FREDERICK PARK FAIRER was a British artist 1910-1984, NAIVE SCHOOL OF ART, the same as L.S.LOWRY (1887-1976). F.P. FAIRER painted very similar to that of L.S.LOWRY as you can see in his figures, but he did not paint factories and buildings, he concentrated on figurative scenes. FREDERICK PARK FAIRER was born in HULL in 1910 and died in 1984 in BRIGHTON, he was a painter in oils of figurative subjects. He studied at the BOROUGH POLYTECHNIC under DAVID BOMBERY then at the CITY& GUILDS of LONDON ART SCHOOL 1950, and at the CENTRAL OF ARTS& CRAFTS, LONDON 1951-1953. His work was EXHIBITED at THE ROYAL ACADEMY, THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF PORTRAIT PAINTERS and THE NEW ENGLAND ART CLUB 1952-1957. He lived in CRAVEN HILL, PADDINGTON LONDON W2 and later lived in BRIGHTON. His works sell for up to $3,000 in the USA, not many of his works come on the market as like many artists they are commissioned to paint specific scenes for their clientel.
