Original U.S. Leather Ammunition Pouch
Presenting an excellent original 1902 McKeever-style ammo pouch, named after its creator, First Lieutenant Samuel McKeever of the U.S. 2nd Infantry Regiment. It is inspired by the 1874 design for the Springfield Trapdoor Rifle in .45/70 Government Caliber. After adopting the Springfield Krag–Jørgensen in .30-40, the U.S. Army crafted a new version for the smaller .30 caliber cartridge. It was used by US Army till 1910, this pouch is a testament to military history. Complete and well-preserved, featuring brown leather, brass detailing, and secure closures.
