Old livery Button with Family Crest of Von Rosen

Von Rosen is a nobleman who immigrated to Sweden in the 17th century from Livonia (now Latvia and Estonia), where the members belonged to the knight class in the 13th century. Various branches of the family have been elevated to noble, baronial and countial dignity. Surviving is the count family von Rosen number 85, and the baronial family von Rosen number 290. Extinct is number 1905 (year 1857) and the baronial family number 208 (year 1752).
