Other | The silver stamp “84” itself is a so-called “Kokoshnik” mark with a woman in profile and the city symbol “v”, which means that the item was manufactured in Kyiv, i.e. today’s Ukrain. The three parts are locked together with the sword. All part have silver hallmarks. The suit buckle can advantageously also be worn as a necklace with a chain. This type of item was extremely fashionable in Tsarist Russia in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. |
